McVinney Auditorium is located at 43 Dave Gavitt Way, Providence. In the same block as the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul, the auditorium offers free parking for 350 cars in three lots that are immediately adjacent to the hall and connected to each other. Access is from the I-95 service road (Dave Gavitt Way) via Pond Street (near the middle arrow aabove) or from Broad Street via Fenner Steet (near the head of the lowest arrow).

Click to see an interactive map and scroll or resize to see street names.

Driving directions are simple from I-95 north or south, and from the center of Providence:

From 95 Northbound take Exit 1A and stay to the right as the exit ramp becomes East Franklin Street, and then changes its name to Dave Gavitt Way. Immediately after crossing Broad Street, turn right on Pond Street to enter the parking lots.

From 95 Southbound take the Atwell Avenue Exit and stay straight as the ramp becomes Service Road 1. Take a left onto Broad Street (which passes over I95), turn left on the service road (Dave Gavitt Way), and immediately turn right on Pond Street to enter the parking lots.

From the East Side of Providence, or downtown, take Weybosset Street past the Providence Performing Arts Center and stay straight as the street becomes Broad Street. Take a right onto Fenner Street. Turn left into the first of the three connected parking lots. Alternatively, take any of the west-running streets between Weybosset and Point Streets to the service road and then to the Pond Street entrance.
